Roanoke, VA – May 30, 2024 – Kate Mahoney, Relocation Director of MKB, REALTORS® in Roanoke, VA, has been elected to the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® Advisory Council, a leadership group that provides guidance on key initiatives for Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), a global real estate network comprised of 550 market-leading firms in over 70 countries.

The Advisory Council works closely with the LeadingRE management team on vital relocation, business development and lead generation programs. Council members also serve as mentors for other affiliates and ambassadors for the organization's extensive programs. Participants are elected by fellow council members to serve a three-year term and are chosen based on the merits of their professional experience and reputation.

Kate started with MKB in October of 2020 as the Relocation and Business Outreach Manager. Since that time, she was named Relocation Director, gained multiple certifications as well as her REALTOR license, served on the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors' Economic Development Committee for her second year, joined Relocation Directors Council, and was accepted onto the Emerging Leaders Taskforce for Worldwide ERC®.
